It was a very hot day and it was the day when our whole clique finally met to celebrate wendy's 17th belated birthday (amanda chia didnt come as she had training) . Met wendy at about 1.50pm at her house to pass her presents. Met the rest of the girls at 2pm at j8. Was supposed to meet them at 1pm but i was ...late. hehe :D
& the buses to j8 are not helping me to me on time.
1. There was no bus for 10 min
2. The bus that finally came was 162 which does not go to j8
3. Bus 88 came twice and both were super crowded due to the long interval for each bus to arrive.
4. About 25min later i boarded 410
So we went marina for lunch. We wanted to go to the ice cream buffet at yuki and yaki (i think that's the restaurant name...not sure) but the buffet ends at 4pm. So ... we were not able to eat there.
We ended up eating at KFC. (SOOO CROWDED MOST PROBABLY DUE TO THE IT FAIR)
After eating we all proceded to the IT FAIR , it was the 2nd last day. Super crowded that security guards had to be present.
Wendy wanted to buy a screen protector for her laptop.
I was attracted to the hot pink ipod nano as well as their free gifts thus i purchased the 8GB hot pink nano at the ITFAIR.
However, after queuing for 1hour plus to purchase my ipod, ELECTRONICS LINES WE DOWN.
I COULD NOT USE MY NETS TO PAY. The person then ask me to pay by debit card. (obviously none of the girls and i owns a debit card...) SO SHE ASKED US TO WITHDRAW MONEY AT THE NEAREST ATM MACHINE AND THEN QUEUE UP AGAIN.
FEELING UNHAPPY , JOLENE HELPED ME TO SAY THAT IT IS REALLY UNFAIR TO QUEUE UP AGAIN AND SO WE WOULD COME BACK LATER WITHOUT QUEUING UP.
At.. every atm machine.... the queue is snake-like....
however, i spotted another ipod shop. It has the exact same promotion as the IT FAIR.
Feeling elated and blessed, i bought my ipod within 10min....
and was able to use my nets card! haha.
The salesman told me that he dont understand why people are sooo silly to queue up at the IT FAIR rather than here. The free gifts and the price is exactly the same! and at the it fair, lime green ipod was sold out. At the epic centre in suntec there are sooo many lime green ipods..
haha, although lime green looks pretty (even all the girls of my clique have the same sentiments) , i still prefer my pink ipod!
my laptop is pink, my braces were pink, my ipod is pink and ytd i bought a hot pink bag pack with monster!!!!! =)

i must learn how to grinn.. LOL.
