1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
   All our sins and griefs to bear!
   What a privilege to carry
   Everything to God in prayer!

   All because we do not carry
   Everything to God in prayer!
2. Have we trials and temptations?
   Is there trouble anywhere?
   We should never be discouraged—
   Take it to the Lord in prayer.
   Can we find a friend so faithful,
   Who will all our sorrows share?
   Jesus knows our every weakness;
   Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Dear Lord,

Please help me pull through this hard time.

There is no one I can seek about this situation. I am really upset.

I know that by your grace I will be able to be strong. I will have to courage to move on, to not give up in my studies.

Give me the determination press on.

Please help me with my school work as I am facing a hard time right now.

I know that there is hope in Christ.

Thank you for hearing my prayers.
