There are both good news and bad news to share today.
The good news are
1) Shi Min and Jing wen's birthday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY
2) My classmate Evelyn obtained the highest for Effective Writing Skills Module in my class as well as the whole cohort of the AFS! WOW! Congrats!! Her business letters were truly amazing!
3) I FINISHED POM PROJECTTTTTTT LIKE AFTER A LONG LONG PERIOD OF TIME. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, one bad news overpowered all the good news that made me so happy today.
Its a deep sense of loss to our family.
After a tough battle with cancer for 2 years, the Lord has taken him to be with him, to a place where there would not be any suffering and pain. Somewhere that he may be free from sickness and find happiness.
He does not need to spend thousand and thousands of dollars for medical treatment / chemotherapy in China and the expensive air tickets to travel to and fro from Singapore to China.
The money could be used to invest in their children's education instead.
Perhaps , God had a purpose to take him away
At daybreak, i came to know of the news. I was shocked beyond words as i was not prepared for it. The doctor had said that he would have at least 3 months more to live.
I guess i would need some time to get used to it. It feels weird to lose a love one.
